Chuck Marshall:My mom, wife and I with cats are ok. We had to drive thru some fire but made it. The house gone. My brother is taking care of us. My wife and I are moving to the coast and have a place to rent as of Dec 1st. More later!
Phil Headley: Phil and Jackie Headley got out safe and are staying with friends in Chico. No word on our property on Cluster Court yet.
We went to Gridley (County Fairgrounds and then the Moose lodge) and got water, some food, clothes (used and new), towels, blankets etc. I hope to see everyone again in the future. Be safe and stay warm.
The Red Cross in Gridley gave us some useful information. They also gave us $100 cash.
Get a PO box ASAP. Our mail is being held at the Post Office on 5th street in Chico.
Register “Safe and Well” with the Red Cross.
Register with FEMA
Gary Jones:Gary and Ronnie Jones are ok. Uncertain about our house on Creston. Found a room at Beaumont Inn Redding.
Rich Boulter: Power went off at 11am Thursday and we evacuated with our cats via Butte Meadows at 11:30. Arrived at out son's house in Torrance mid day Friday and plan to be here for the duration. Our house on Carnegie was still there as of this (Tuesday) AM.
Ron Doring: We are in Modesto at Donnie's sisters. Ron 530 228 9578
Rich Boulter: I replied to the roll call message but it may not have gone thru. In any case my wife evacuated at 11:30am on Thursday. All is well. We are at our son's home in Torrance and plan to be here for the duration. It looked like our house was still okay as of this AM.
Terry Wild:Our house is "Dust in the wind" as are the other 5 houses including Jaime O'neills' on Mooz Court, Magalia. Don't plan on a rebuild as it would take a long while and it would be impossible to insure. Currently staying with Brian and Lara Chapman in Placerville until we find a place to rent or buy.
Chuck Marshall:Thanks for the info. Here is my cell 530-518-5280. My mom and wife and all cats got out and we are up in weed, my brother is providing us a room at a local motel for the rest of the month. The wife’s kid has made arrangements for us to move into a place on Dec 1st. I am moving all 4 suitcases wife and cats to the coast permanently. My clubs are a memory so I get to start over. Their are still a lot of missing. We didn’t have to much fire to drive thru but ended up having to go scottwood to wayland then Neal then 99south then 162 to I-5 then north. My mom drove for about 8 hrs behind me until I meet my brother coming down and his wife took over for mom. I left the truck and it is still there and drivable with little if any damage. Look forward to hearing about everyone. Take Care!
